Presently doing a thorough clean-up and partial on my '67 camaro (250/6, 3 spd.). had the car 27yrs. #'s matching etc. Did a hot rod theme with it back in the late 80's and early 90's. Presently bringing it back to factory spec. including color. Started work back in Nov. Just finished sheet metal squaring and gap checks. Still some small stuff. I left the driver's seat in so I can move it, however not road worthy due to the tires being dry rotted. Engine,drivetrain,all mechanical systems work well. Hoping to finish late this year or early next year. I figured if I'm going to start driving the car on a regular basis again, I'd find a club to hang out with. Ultimately, hope to find, buy, build or both a "real" hot-rod so I don't have to worry as much about "correct" parts. |
